Evelyn Estefan, DDS
Evelyn Estefan, DDS, is a highly experienced dentist providing excellent care to patients at Doral Dental Boutique & Spa in Miami, Florida. She has been practicing dentistry for 30 years in South Florida.
Dr. Estefan was born in Bogota, Colombia, and raised in Montreal, Canada. She was inspired to become a dental health professional by her father, Dr. Luis Estefan, MD, who was an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Oncologic Surgeon at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. His leadership led her to practice dentistry with care and excellence in an integral manner, providing personalized dental care that her patients love.
In 1982, Dr. Estefan graduated from Pontificia Javeriana University, School of Dentistry, in Bogotá, Colombia. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1989 in Florida after completing a general dentistry internship at Jackson Memorial Hospital in the oral and maxillofacial surgery department.
Dr. Estefan has been a member of numerous dental organizations and has been in solo practice for over 30 years. She has been a pre-fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and a member in good standing of the Florida Academy of General Dentistry since 1992.
She is a lifelong learner who has completed hundreds of hours in continuing education courses throughout her professional career.
Dr. Estefan understands the needs of her patients and is constantly updating and modernizing to meet those needs without adding significant changes to the cost of services rendered at her practice. And at the same time, with constant technological advances, she continues to provide excellent service.

Our Commitment to Infection Control

We’re pleased to share the steps we take to enhance your safety during every visit. While COVID-19 is primarily transmitted through respiratory droplets, our “Droplet Protection Program” adds multiple layers of defense. We have installed the OCTOdent External Aerosol Suction and Air Scavenger System, operational for both Dental Prophylaxis and Operative treatments. This system absorbs dirt, dust, fungi, bacteria, vapors, and viruses such as COVID-19. It also features a UV-C germicidal lamp that destroys bacteria and viruses by breaking their DNA structure, ensuring clean air supply and meeting the highest standards for patient safety.
We also follow advanced
Dental Unit Waterline (DUWL) protocols. Each unit is equipped with
DentaPure technology—developed for NASA—to ensure water remains free from bacteria, viruses, and harmful organisms. This EPA-registered antimicrobial treatment exceeds ADA, CDC, and OSAP microbiological standards, contains no hazardous silver, and keeps CFU levels under 200. Water is regularly tested and verified by outside sources.
Air Quality, Ventilation, and Sterilization Protocols
Even without conclusive CDC evidence that viruses contaminate HVAC systems, we take no chances. Our ventilation system has been industrially cleaned with video-probe verification, and UV light systems have been installed at air entry points to destroy harmful organisms, control mold and bacteria, reduce odors, and remove VOCs. Certified NADCA cleaning ensures contaminant removal, and combined with OCTOdent’s air scavenging, air exchanges occur several times per hour. All treatments are performed in individual rooms for additional safety.
Instrument sterilization follows a strict Sterile Supply Cycle. Instruments are first cleaned to reduce bioburden, then processed in a Biosonic device, rinsed, dried, and inspected. They are packed in sterilization pouches with pressure and sterilization indicators, then autoclaved using steam under pressure to destroy bacteria, fungi, spores, and viruses. Sterilized instruments are stored in a dry environment for quality assurance. Autoclaves are continuously monitored through biological markers and tested by an external lab (Mesalabs) to ensure compliance.
